With the exception of the door and the vents and step under the door, the exterior is finished. Actually, I still need to rework the claws so they work better, too.

This shows 3 of the 4 versions, starting with the cardboard mockup. The last version and the one before it are shown so the difference in the width of the bases can be seen. Its little things like that which make this job really difficult!

These are epoxy and fiberglass castings that have been cured in the molds so that absolutely no distortion has occurred. The edges need to be trimmed and these then get cut into the parts that will finally become the production masters. These castings are too thin as they are, so thickness will be added. Keep in mind that the Pod is 13.5 inches tall and you'll realize just how big this mold is! We will be seeing the first castings out of this mold about this time next week.
