Please note there is no information covering the assembly of the Pilot Figure, other than the sheet covering the clear helmet visor that is included in the
kit.

Hey all.
After nearly two years, I am finally starting my Pod. The thing that had been holding me up all this time was wanting to do the interior as close to the level
of awesomeness as shown here by so many other folks. Welp, it was by abandoning that notion that gave me the impetus to go ahead. I want to build three of
these anyway, so this one will be the one left behind on Discovery. Anyone remember their names? Able, Betty and ... ?

Anyhow, this one will give me practice...

Once he has his front and back packs on and the waldos I've planned are in place I'm not sure he's going to fit well in the remaining space. Even if I leave out the waldos, his shoulders hit the backwalls. (I'll post some pictures when I get a moment). I think I'm going to start the alternate interior (as a paper rough out initially) and see how it goes. As much as I like Scott's interior, I think I start on...

When I first introduced this kit, way back in 1997, there was no pilot figure and the manipulator arms were cast in resin. The price of the kit was $135. Since
then, I have added the pilot figure and had the manipulator arms made in metal, both of which added to the cost of the kit. So, for those of you who would like
to 'upgrade' your older Pod model, I now offer these parts as an 'accessory' set.
