No matter what I do, one of the &quot;V&quot; shaped #37 strut bases buldges out a little, rather than in.  This results in the assembled tower not being straight in the verticle.  If I try to bring the third #37 strut base in more like the other two, then the tower does not fit as it's legs (#'s 31, 32, 33) no longer match up with the base struts.  I have... ]]></description>

			<description><![CDATA[ After a year, I have finally started tackling the Mercury (I was surprised to see only two topics on this part of the board...com'n there must be others with questions about this thing!)<br><br>Step 5 of the instructions states that the forward nose faring should NOT be glued to the middle parachute/retro ring. But there is no locking mechanism for the two, so if you want to display the model with the faring on, it MUST be glued. 			<description><![CDATA[ Finally got the CC xwing in.  I was really lucky to get in on the last run!<br><br>The talented moffeaton built up the kit and painted it for me (ala Red 5).  The weathering is absolutely awesome!  If that wasnt enough (it looks great already), I designed some &quot;special&quot; electronics that he also installed.  The cockpit has static lights, while R2 has working PSI eyelights and the engine lights flicker like in the movie.
