Thanks Scotthm. The mesh was a good coincidence. I am lucky the resin of the original mesh was so fine comapred to the outer rim that I was able to use a 1/32" bit as a skillsaw, simply dragging the inner perimeter around with one finger while holding the dremel slightly dug into a telephone book for stability. Had it not gone so easily, I would have been delayed by ordering replacements.The other option was to build a frame -which I didn't really want to do as it wouldn't have...

It looks good. I especially like what you did with the brass mesh.

I think yours is the only build-up I've seen that hasn't been painted gray. The colors look more like the original, and I like that.

The build itself was very straightforward. I think I reversed the order of the cargo modules, but with a huge amount of sanding, it worked out.

Getting rid of the seam on the engine module was worse.
