        <![CDATA[ Hiya folks,

Just finished the kit an hour or so ago and wanted to share some of the goodness.


The build itself was very straightforward. I think I reversed the order of the cargo modules, but with a huge amount of sanding, it worked out.


Getting rid of the seam on the engine module was worse.





After I had the body assembled a few months ago, the other night I snapped the engine pod and its connector off so that I could insert a dowl down the entire

<p> There are some fine craftsmen over there, but I still think yours is closer to the look of the studio model.  I haven&#39;t seen the remastered episodes
either, but suspect that&#39;s where the inspiration for these other paint schemes has come from.

achieve with the airbrush once back in the groove.

			<description><![CDATA[ Thanks Scotthm.  The mesh was a good coincidence. I am lucky the resin of the original mesh was so fine comapred to the outer rim that I was able to use a
1/32&quot; bit as a skillsaw, simply dragging the inner perimeter around with one finger while holding the dremel slightly dug into a telephone book for
stability. Had it not gone so easily, I would have been delayed by ordering replacements.The other option was to build a frame -which I didn&#39;t really want

I think yours is the only build-up I&#39;ve seen that hasn&#39;t been painted gray.  The colors look more like the original, and I like that.
