The 15-inch Aries is 1/32 scale (the same as the styrene Moonbus, once we get that out...) Oh, the diorama possibilities-- if you're into really BIG dioramas... The flightdeck and passenger cabin interiors will be included, though they will most likely be done as vacuform pieces. (Don't worry, they'll look nice-- trust me.) At this point, I am planning on the legs being positionable, but if too many problems pop up, there will simply be a second set of legs so both retracted and extended positions can be modeled. Figures will be included: 2 seated Pilots, 1 seated Hostess, 1 standing Hostess, 1 seated Dr. Floyd. There will be no lighting items supplied.
This kit will have some of the largest castings ever done for a resin kit. I will post photos in several topics in this forum. There are topics covering the molding process and there will be Updates, where the latest photos will be posted.
The price of this Aries kit is $285, plus shipping. All of the ordering information, including the cost of shipping is located in the Aries Ordering topic. Please note this is now scheduled to start delivery in February, or early March 2004.
As usual, email me with questions, or post them here. I should also say I have a 'housekeeping' policy that everyone needs to be aware of. What people post will stay up for a while, but eventually posts that don't really advance the topic will be swept off, including mine. This way we can avoid pages and pages of things that were current when posted, but old a month later.
