I would like to be flummoxed by more rare stills of the Moonbus interior please.

There will be Moonbus news forthcoming, probably around the middle of this month. This landed back in my lap about 2 months ago and I'll be able to devote more time to it once I have the Aries wrapped up. I'm trying to get the Aries into production this month and once that happens, I'll be able to get the Moonbus finished very quickly.

Just a bit of something to get your mouth watering:
This is my Aurora MoonBus with one sheet of EL lamp for the rear cabin ceiling lighting. Just think how cool your 1/24 scale Moon Bus will look! You are looking at the actual EL sheet as it gives off a slight blue tint on its own...perfect for the Moon Bus ya think? ![]() If you can't dazzle them with your paint job baffle then with interior details!

That is exactly what I am trying to accommodate in my kit. The interior ceiling will have a space in it to allow for lightsheet to be installed. And that bluish white is perfect!

I'm glad you like it Scott.
I found this image on a disc that I forgot about....sadly I sold it a few years back. I also weathered it which is not the best finish for a Moon Bus. If you can't dazzle them with your paint job baffle then with interior details!

Actually, considering my finances right now, the longer this takes, the more likely I'll have the money for it.

Um, Scott's pretty sick. My best friend's sister's boyfriend's brother's girlfriend heard from this guy who knows this kid
who's going with a girl who saw Scott pass out at 31 Flavors last night. I guess it's pretty serious.

Nope, I just like to use the cliche line for net communication
So why no response from Scott on the bus? Has the project stalled? Died? Turned all pruney from being in the tub too long?

John, and everyone else-
This is another case of great minds thinking alike... I was just about to post this 'return to action' update-- The Moonbus has been stalled due to activity on other things, but I am now getting back to it. The weather has changed enough that I can actually work at night again, so I'm making a point to get back to this project. I really didn't think this would linger as long as it has as I thought I'd have the Aries done by now. As you may recall, this model was being mastered by Randy Cooper. I got it back when he decided to do his Star Destroyer kit. Even his plans didn't work out as his original intention was to have the SD rotocast, but that fell through and he's casting that kit himself. So, sending the MB back to him to get finished isn't possible right now. Fortunately, the work that needs to be done is not complicated, so I should be able to make good progress over a short amount of time. Scott |
