We'll be finished with the move before the end of this month (May). Operationally, we'll only be out of action for about 8 or 9 days. I've timed this move to coincide with the production of the Aries kit and the Underwriter's small Discovery model. In other words, we will have filled all existing kit orders (Botany Bay, Pod, D-7, Moonliner and Antenna Module Kit) before we shut down the operation and when we start back up, the Aries and the Discovery will be the only models being produced. We can produce any of the other kits during this time, as the orders come in, but we won't be producing them as part of the normal schedule. And once those are going, I'll also be able to complete the Moonbus, as well as the rest of the Underwriter's Projects. I'll be updating those items soon, right after we finish moving.
We started the move just over a week ago, moving all the stuff that was simply stored in the shop. I'll post some photos of the 'new' shop once we have things in place. And I'll describe how the new operation will differ from how things were done when I was originally in my garage. It turns out that while having a bigger shop to work in, we just had a lot of room to walk around in!
