someone posted a link to some screen caps (blu-ray or HD, I don't remember which) of one of the Discovery EVA sequences. I recall they showed some good
detail of the Discovery.
I can't seem to find the link. Can someone point me in the right direction, please? Thanks, Art |

Any chance of getting some nice screen shots like this of the initial shots of Discovery and maybe later toward the end with Discovery at Jupiter and the
stargate itself. These make a really great set of stills of the entire movie if a few blanks can be filled. Thank you so much for making these available.

Hey Michelle,
I uploaded a bunch more caps here, about 574 more. Most are of the Space Station interior, to help out someone doing phenomenal 3D renderings posted at http://2001aspaceodyssey.ning.com. I did a frame-by-frame of two scenes that showed signage that is blurred by depth-of-field and camera motion. He also needed to see details of the Hilton office and vending kiosks. I also did several captures of the Discovery camera fly-by's, showing the detail of the propulsion module... enjoy! I hope these are of help for people doing research on the film... I've gotten a lot of great info from the 2001 "community" and it's nice to return the favor. My ultimate goal is to do a full-size Pod as a working office "cubicle" (at least the interior... the exterior will require some serious fabrication talent to do justice). Adding more will have to wait... the PC on which I have Photoshop installed seems to have developed a serious hardware issue... lots of red dots and garbled text on startup before Windows boots. Not a good sign! |

Thanks for the more screen grabs of Discovery. And I would love to see some of the Jupiter and Stargate shots, if you have the time as well. I think I speak

The entire antenna module would be pretty freakin' cool to as there are symbols and details all over the place that I've noticed the last few times
I've seen the 70mm print.
