Looks bloody fantastic!
Quick question: is there a reason you decided not to use some of the exterior decals? Just curious. |

I will mask the black areas and the back door as it is already treated. I will not have time to do so till early next week.
Thanks again for the kind words pals! I could not have done this without the help from you guys and Paul! If you can't dazzle them with your paint job baffle then with interior details!

Super work Troy! Say, what did you use for your ceiling console (the part that holds the overlay). --Jim

Thanks bud!
Well...as some of you may already know I fudged on the 'correct' ceiling design....Paul offers simple and detailed drawings for the ceiling but the way the inner 'shell' has to be cut to fit the window opening and to have room for the door mechanics to work it does not leave a lot of room for the sphere shape to continue all up the way AND I simply did not want to add 1 to 2 months to my build time. NOTE: A person could still build up a much better representation of the A/C control panel evn on a flat or semi flat surface. The piece I used?...sorry....I have no idea...I searched through several 'parts boxes' before finding the perfect size cone shape and then I glued on a thin styrene sheet to the bottom...then cut out a hole just large enough for the artwork to have an edge to hold and glue to.....painted it testors aluminum metalizer and wha la. I'm Katsuya fron Japan. Great Job! I know the hardship of making the POD kit. I could not make working group overlay because of it's
difficulty. |

Yes...resin kits can be difficult...but worth it. Was that your Pod that Scott did display here earlier? Thanks again! Troy If you can't dazzle them with your paint job baffle then with interior details!

Thank you for your friendly greetings.
The Pod that Scott posted here is my Pod! I could enjoy building EVA Pod kit more than one year. Next, I will try to make Aries 1B kit. |

kaccha, your Pod is beautiful! Very well done. I only hope that my version when finished comes close to the work that you, Troy, Paul, and others have done. Very well done! -Robert

Now I am buidling a 1/500 Battleship ARGO....I am adding both bridges with lights and some details....even the view screen above the main bridge is E L lamp...very small and very crazy! I will post some pics soon. If you can't dazzle them with your paint job baffle then with interior details!

Looking to purchase a completed pod | ||

Hi everyone,
I'm a newbie. I was wondering if anyone might have a completed pod to sell. I am hoping for one that is lighted, painted and also has the Bowman figure. I personally don't get a kick out of doing the building (sorry...I know that's fun for most of you), but I would like to have a completed pod for display. Anyone know of a pod for sale and if so, what the cost would be? I live near Seattle for shipping estimates. THANKS! William |
