I've noticed that the bowman figure is going to be a tight fit in the stock interior. Once he has his front and back packs on and the waldos I've planned are in place I'm not sure he's going to fit well in the remaining space. Even if I leave out the waldos, his shoulders hit the backwalls. (I'll post some pictures when I get a moment). I think I'm going to start the alternate interior (as a paper rough out initially) and see how it goes. As much as I like Scott's interior, I think I start on the alternate one. Anyone else using the stock interior with seated figure? --Jim

Hi Jim,
Sorry pal...I never tried to fit my Bowman figure in my Pod...in fact I gave it to a guy in my local Sci-Fi model club cuz he has one of the earlier releases. That new post by Scott shows the Bowman in that build by the person from Japan.....you gotta make it work....looks like its worth it! |

I think I discovered a way to do it (involves some surgery on his knees). But I still may make the other interior anyway. Just for fun.

Jim,
Do you have the Bowman figure already built? If so...I would drop the floor as needed....you have 'PLENTY' of room for that in this kit. Scott's metal or resin control yokes are a bit too tall for the scale as well. Keep in mind....'If' you choose to use a 'inner' wall/shell.... keep in mind.... I got very lucky that the shell/bowl that I found worked perfect around Paul's work ( that I already had completed ) Good luck Jim! "Never let schooling interfere with your education"
