No, that part is just one of several that we had to leave out of the kit. If we'd have put them all into the kit, it would have meant adding another sprue of parts and a year to the schedule. This being our first injection-molded project, we learned a few things. The main thing we learned was to use a development company that knows what a model kit is and what 'scale' means.

The Chinese will never tell you 'No'. You can give them extensive drawings, hundreds of photos and hours and hours of face to face discussion and you'll come away with the idea they understand what you want. But, if something comes up and they don't understand it, they won't tell you; they just proceed-- and when they get something wrong, when you show them what should have been done, they say "Oh, THAT's what you want!"-- and in 2.5 years you get a Mercury kit that is really nice, but lacks certain things like an interior bulkhead.
