Keep in mind that the Pod is 13.5 inches tall and you'll realize just how big this mold is! We will be seeing the first castings out of this mold about this time next week. I read here that you were going to be casting the main hull in one piece unlike 2 that come with the 1/12 scale model. If so, I can't quite get my head around how you will make this hollow. What I will wind up doing is cutting one up to make moldable pieces. Exactly what form the final version of this will be I can't say. It really depends on how the interior winds up going into it. Keep in mind this thing is a bit larger than a football helmet, so reaching inside from the door or the sides is not a problem! Scott

What you see here still needs to be refined. For instance, stops need to be added so that the two moving parts can not travel past center. Also, endcaps are needed to hide the ends of the axel, seen here as the end of a brass tube. Scott

In the meantime-- These show one completely hinged arm. Not all the parts are present, but all the joints have examples. I still need to refine a few things before the final versions of these parts are done. Scott
