Hi! I'm a huge fan of Scott's and have absolutely enjoyed assembling my D-7. I finished it today, and it now has a proud spot on my computer desk. I took a bunch of pictures of it. However, I didn't realize there was already dust accumulating on the model until I looked at the close up shots. Oh well.
I've tried to include descriptions with some of the links below. I added some detail that clearly isn't canon and I wanted to explain my motivation for doing such.
Overall shots:

You can see a whole bunch of paneling on my D-7. These masks are available from REL (you can find him on several sci-fi modeling boards). I used the two-tone
paint scheme that you can find on this board. I varied the paints just a bit with white to make the contrast with the paneling.

Decals supplied with the kit are outstanding.
Close up of added sensor dish detail:

Not officially canon, but is seen on some blueprints and diagrams.
Added decals to the hangar and impulse engines:

I really veered from canon here, but this part of the model was screaming for detail. The impulse engine decals take their shape from those on the
K'Tinga. The hangar decal adds a lot too, imho.
Added grill decals:

I really felt this area of the model needed some color variation so I made some decals for the grills.
Added decals for the neck:

I decided to add some decals in some areas of the model that I felt needed extra detail. I felt the neck needed something to break up the long streak of
green, so I came up with these decals.
